I have found there are 3 different areas that could cause this issue for all you future break experts out there...lol... I formulad this information ...
It's in the service manual.
I found a distributor that sell the actual switch for $50 but it is only the switch and not the bracket, extension/spring, and rubber screw on (1/2') ...
Matt only supplies them with the complete new wire harness. the plastic switch covers as well. He did say to use Teflon which I have already ordered.

Try soaking them in lacquer thinner for 3 hours.
