Where is a good source for purchasing fuel bladders for a 1963 PA-30 mains and aux's? thanks George...Happy New Year !!!!

My experience has been with Eagle and Aerotech. Eagle tanks would not fit my mains. Aerotech's did, and had thicker material. Others have lauded Floats and Fuel Cells, but I have no personal experience.

I installed a Floats and Fuel Cells bladder in a T.C. Main two weeks ago. It was a good fit and came with an installation kit that included everything needed to do the job. I put one in an Aztec 10 years ago. Good install and no problems since. They are in Memphis so shipping to Alabama is quick and lower cost. They also had a good price.

For Info for the single Comanche owners I checked on there prices a few months ago for a '63 Comanche 250. Basically each replacement tank was about $750.00. Need to replace mine as well.

I'd seen Kristin's post on this when I needed tanks a few years ago, I followed her lead. Have AeroTech for all 4 original twin bladders, mechanics said they fit well. ICS members have gotten discounts in the past. On page 15 in Jan Flyer Mag.

Count me as happy with that decision.

I got a better price from AirParts Inc then I go from FFC direct. Try a few distributors.

The Aerotech on page 15 is for Aerotech Publications, selling the Adlog. Do they sell the fuel bladders also, as I need to replace the mains on my PA-39.

I just spent the last 2 days installing the left 2 fuel bladders from FFC. They went in good and the fit was excellent. The old bladders were made by "US Rubber" I'm not sure how old they are but were rebuilt in 1994 according to the log book. I did notice the installer used regular duct tape not the green tape. I took all of that regular duct tape out and spent many hours re-doing the work. There were many areas not taped up as needed. I think I'll do the right side this spring. I have new glass to install next. Thanks George
