Call XM just before you go flying next and have them reactivate your radio. You will need the radio ident and you can get that off of the Xm page on the 530. Just call them up and they will send the signal up to the Sattelite so that you will re start the programing. It needs to be done every so often for some reason...

Also tell XM to activate the WX portion in addition to the music section. They are two different services.

You should start to see the re-activation within about 10min of requesting the refresh. If it takes longer than 45 minutes call XM at the number below.
If you have access to Internet, you can also request the activation by going to the this website. I have this plus the radio ID saved on my Internet capable phone. I even did a re-fresh in the air once.
The XM weather service phone number is 800-985-9200.
Important, NOTE: Please check your 8 digit radio ID code carefully. None of the following letters are used: "I" (eye), "o" (oh), "S" or "F".

Finally got a chance today to try the fix for my weather. Typed in my radio ID's for the weather data and audio on the website. Went flying. It took about 30 minutes for all the data to start working. All is well now. Thankyou for the help. It was easy to do online.
