I installed a gtn650 about 2 years ago. I started to notice that when the heater was working I would get an intermittent squark. It seemed to match the timing of the heater spark plug. I thought it was just this radio, but then found my old gtn300 had reduced range on the radio and had more interference when the heater was working. It doesnt happen if I switch the heater to fan. It seems to me it is the heater spark plug or its controller causing the problem. Has anyone had a similar problem and knows how to fix it? Thanks for your help.
