Motorola Alternator P/N 015-01237
Anybody know where I can find a Motorola Alternator P/N 015-01237 for my 24-180 (serial #186)?
The auto shop tested it, rather lame, but said they "thought" it was putting out voltage but the stator was bad. I only inquired w/Aircraft Spruce, no longer made.

You might try Quality Aircraft Accessories who advertise that they can repair these alternators.

I'd suggest finding a quality auto electric shop and have them rebuild yours. As I recall the only issue are the brushes which are aviation grade which in this case means they have a higher content of molybdenum.
