Help with Panel Color?
I found this picture the other day and want to replicate the color on my new panel. I think I remember reading that the color was called 'Cessna Grey' but I'm not sure if this is a description or an actual color.
Can anyone shed some light?
Cheers,
James.

Re: Help with Panel Color?
FYI,
I have done a ton of research on this question about what panel color is better. There is no one color that is the best. It really boils down to kinda what you like. I perfer a light grey or beige. I have seen the new Boeing and Piper Stuff and they use the lighter Beige/Tan colors. In my opinion the lighter colors are a better and easier on the eyes because todays displays are so bright.
Also, remember to get your placards either etched, engraved, or silk screened on. Not the plastic stick-on 1970's style. FWIW.

Re: Help with Panel Color?
I did mine in the Cessna grey and love it. I think the actual color is called Cadet Grey. I had my placards silk screened in white. If you go with a light gray or light tan you may need to do your placards in black so they will show up. I think the white is more visible at night. My interior is a lighter gray. In my process the shop did the first panel in light gray and I didn't like it. We had to cut another panel for some other changes and did the second one in the Cadet Grey and liked it much better.
Good luck !
