FluxGate Installation Information Request
I am looking for advice as to the proper/best/proven location for the fluxgate unit of a Century/Edo NSD360 HSI system that is to be installed in a tip tank equipped Twin Comanche. I have had opinions that it can go in the wingtip, in the tail, and in the nose.
If you have this system, or know the best answer, your advice would be much appreciated. And if you have some photos of the installation and bracketry, that would be doubly helpful.
Thanks in advance

Almost universally I have seen these mounted in the empennage, just forward and above RH access panel, attached to the first bulkhead.

Thanks for that. Have you got any photos? Or know where to get some?

I don't have any. I could photograph my installation as I have the KCS-55A, next time I open up the tail access.
