I saw today that Dynon now has an STC for almost 600 aircraft types for its SkyView HDX avionics. All the models of PA-24 are covered, but not for the autopilot. The PA-30 does not appear to be covered.

This seems like a big deal to me. What do others think? Is it possible to interface the SkyView with other autopilots, like STEC?

    Hello,
I’m home based at SFZ, North Central, RI. Sadly, my Comanche mechanic of 20 years is succumbing to age and dementia, and has wisely retired. Might anyone recommend qualified Comanche mechanics or shops within 150 miles of SFZ? I have a 1958 PA24-250 with 5600 hours. I’m in annual for another 10 months but need some instrument repair/replacement ASAP.
This is a first post, so I’m not sure if responses post here, but my info is Kevin White, #12950, 401-263-3111, krrwhite@yahoo.com. 5250 total hours, 2150 in type.
Thanks in advance for any leads.
