    All,

Maybe somebody here can help me out. Has anybody set up the SL-30 as VOR #2 to a Aspen EFD 1000?
I understand the SL-30 is setup in Resolver mode and is set up as Analog in Aspen. But the NAV side just doesn’t seem to be talking with the Aspen.
Any other settings on either piece of equipment I need to look at?

    Thanks

    Hi Gary,
That’s the problem. The SL-30 needs to be set to Converter. The ACU is acting as a VOR/LOC converter. It is taking a composite input from the SL-30, just like it would from a standard KX-155 Nav/Com. It then deciphers it and spits out left/right/to/from etc, and send that to the display.
Change that setting and you are all set.
