Have a Garmin 430 without Waas. About to ADD a second GPS antenna to the roof for the transponder….I know, I hate to drill 5 new holes in my roof. It just seems that I can’t justify yet $4300.00 for a waas upgrade. Can’t afford a $10,000 Garmin 650 just yet. So, anybody have some photos of where your two Nav & GPS antennas are mounted? I think I have picked a place that will work well, just don’t want to mess up. Rather measure twice and drill once! Thanks in advance.

Post a pic of the top of your airplane showing the existing antennas and a piece of masking tape where you want to put the new antenna and I will let you know.
