Hello,
Wondering, if you could help me, I'm looking for a copy of S-Tec-30 autopilot installation instructions on a Comanche 250?260?
Thanks,
Aldo
I hope this is the right place to post this question. My 1964 PA-30 Miller 200 HP Twin Comanche is having it's annual inspection. The mechanic (not a Comanche guy) reports that the same rivet on each wing has an identical crack. He is unwilling to stop-drill them or patch them without knowing what is under the skin. The rivet in question is a flush rivet where a horizontal line of flush rivets crosses a longitudinal line of domed rivets. It is the closest such cross to the fuselage and is in the center of the wing. Specifically it is between the 10th and 11th domed rivets from where the the trailing edge meets the flap. The attached photos will be much easier than trying to describe the location. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
