Hello everyone, new member from Haliburton Ontario but certainly not to Comanches.I have previously shared ownership in a twin, moved on and for the last 13 years to a 250, actually purchased from Lynn Fulmer 96P.It is now registered C-FKPS. Have logged roughly 800 hrs in this awesome airplane and look forward to many more. My son is now flying it as well. I enjoy reading the archives and hearing everyone’s solutions to many quirks we have all had. Just wanted to say hello,

Hi All,

Today joined up as I've just become a Comanche owner, here in the United Kingdom. G-ATJL is a 1965 PA24-260, with a little under 5000 hours total time.  She's been in the UK since initial delivery back in 1965, which means we are both the same age!

On her second engine, has had quite a lot of re-furbishment work over the years and also survived an off-airport forced landing back in the early '90s, post major engine failure.  Cosmetics and instrument panel re-done last about ten years ago, currently sporting a Bendix King KFD840 EFIS screen, S-TEC30 autopilot and JPI 830 Engine Data Monitor.

Looking forward to hearing all about life with Comanches, and reading the forums here have already learned loads.  Thanks for any input.

Regards from the UK,

Rupert Lawson

G-ATJL
