    Question for the greater brain trust out there. A friend of mine has a 59 250 ready for an overhaul. Currently he has the heavy prop hub and the prop was just overhauled.

    I see on the TC there are 4 engines listed (Ok there are 5 but he doesn’t want to upgrade to fuel injection).

    Does anyone know if any of those engines will work with his heavy prop hub, and the aluminum prop hub? He’s hoping to do the engine now and the prop when due

    His current engine/prop combination is O-540-A1D5 and Hartzell HC-A2VK-1

    That is likely a better conversation to have with Hartzell. They should be able to confirm which hubs will work with which engines. It is good to ask as I have heard of people needing be careful about that and so forth.
