Im rebuilding my 250 with a new engine and id like to know what is the most efficient three bladed propeller. i.e speed and climb performance. In addition I can't seem to find anyone who manufactures the aluminum baffles. Anyone have any Dynon Avionics installed? Question is can you fit two 10 inch panels in the panel.

Thanks Sam

From Pat Barry :

Johnston Aircraft. They have a high performance 3 blade, the three blade Scimitar.

I also have a PA-24-250 and I am struggling to find a source for engine baffling. Did you solve the problem?

For engine baffles, suggest Superior Aircraft Components.  We've had good luck with our McCauley 3-blade; but our friends at JAS in Tulare like Hartzells a lot better.  Significantly higher blade cost for for the Hartzells is a consideration.  But McCauleys can't be field serviced.
