Had the electric fuel pump disintegrate on a flight.  Replaced the pump and cleaned the lines and carb screen.  There is now a hesitation at around 1600 rpm and then some surging at high power settings.  I suspect a carb issue.  My mechanic says it could be clogging.  I think he said the "high jet."  Not sure of the specifics, but he said it would need to go to an overhaul shop.  Anyone have suggestions for a carb overhaul shop.

He also suggested that whoever overhauls it should have the ability to pressure test it.  He said pressure testing carbs is complicated

Thanks in advance

That's good ...... it will be helpful to others if you report their findings.

The carb only had 750 hours since new, but was 20 years old.  Lycon said it was "whooped" and had a rebuilt one on their shelf.  They said it would cost 1500 ish to rebuiild mine or they had one for 1088 on the shelf.  Spruce has them for 1200ish also.  I just got the rebuilt one. It shipped today
