Engine sputter after mixture idle on shutdown

Postby Kristofer Duckett » Thu Nov 03, 2016 10:48 pm

Anyone experience an engine that won't shutdown before sputtering. After the mixture is pulled the engine will try to stop but will sputter as if there is still some fuel getting to it. Thoughts? IO-540 w/GAMI injectors. Is this costly to fix?

Poor shutdown is usually caused by a sticking flow divider.
