Lucky for me, I haven’t experienced any unexplained issues with my ‘63 PA-30 for a couple years requiring the expertise of the members of this forum. Yesterday, my auto pilot shut down during an LPV approach into KHWD. Upon trouble shooting with a mechanic at Absolute Aero, we determined that the alternators are not providing necessary current to the battery. we ruled out issues with the battery and loose wires.

I’m seeking suggestions as to what could prevent two alternators from doing their job.

Sincerely,

Tim Puliz
