Dear Steve,

What is your exact engine model? I'll look it up in the parts book if you like.

Sincerely,
Skip Dykema

Dear Steve,

I show that you should have a 12 volt, 70 amp alternator. If so then the belt shown is either 37A19773-367 or 37A19773-376. That is not to say that you can use either one. I am only saying that one of the two will fit and be correct while the other might not. I can't tell from the parts book which one is correct for your application. Since the belts cost somewhere in the $50-$75 bracket, I would try to find a supplier that has the part on hand and you can take the belt there and make sure it matches. The other solution would be to measure the length of the belt and ask that the supplier measures his belt for accuracy. Some alternate part numbers for the -376 are: S1597-1-37.5, 76026, LW10092. The belt width's are all 3/8".

Perhaps you can find a number on your old belt or at least a part of a number that will help to specify which one to order. Note that one of the alternate p/n's ends with 37.5. I would guess that is probably the length in inches.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Skip Dykema

Skip,,Thanks for the information. I really appreciate your help. Just what I needed. No numbers on my old belt, so will have to do the trial and error. Will measure though.

Steve
