Webco Wheel and Brake kits
Anyone have approved Field Approval paperwork, and experience with changing 250 wheels and brakes to a kit supplied by Webco?
My rivet on brake discs are worn out, as is one of the pressure plates. Would like to renew the whole assemblys, but starting from scratch with a field approval thru Seattle FSDO scares me.
Appreciate any help,
Thanks, Don

Don, didn't Piper put the newer type brakes on the later PA 24s? If so, you could take the position that they are approved by the factory and just do a log book entry.

Thanks Jay,
That may work, especially if all the parts are from the later Comanches, as I believe they are.

Hope my IA agrees.

Re: Webco Wheel and Brake kits
Have you ask Webco if a 337 or field approval is needed for their full replacement kit?
