PA30 200 hp conversion

Postby Michael Bronzburg » Thu Aug 16, 2012 9:58 am

Does anyone know if there is a STC still out there or have a copy of an old one to do the 200 hp conversion?
I'd also like to do counter rotating.

Greetings Michael,

John Bailey from Knots2U has the Miller Conversion STC now. I'm not sure if he's doing the 200 hp conversion but he would be your best source for information.

Knots 2U, Ltd.
709 Airport Road
Burlington, WI 53105

262 763 5100 Phone
262 763 5125 Fax

As far as the counter rotating -- most people will tell you it isn't worth effort or money.
I've had one 1963 PA30 without it and now have a PA39 with it and can't really tell the difference.

Counter rotators are slower... but with 200HP don't think that will be a problem,

Cheers,
Gary
