The gear partially extended but no green. We cycled the gear and it retracted okay but would not go fully down. Several attempts were made to manually extend and also trying to shake the gear down before finally getting it fully extended.
After actuator removal it appears that the end cap had initially fractured thru the hole for the long top screw that holds the bearing retainer tab and the threads in the actuator stripped for the two adjacent screws. This allowed the actuator assembly to partially separate from the end cap preventing full extension of the landing gear. Eventually, during the repeated attempts to manually extend the landing gear the remaining two long bearing screws broke allowing the gear to lock down when the actuator broke free from its attachment to the aircraft.
