I just upgraded my Aspen Evolution for the Aspen Evolution Max. On the first flight after picking it up from the shop the Heading would immediately roll hard left. It would also do the the hard roll in the Roll Control mode. When I say hard roll I am talking about 7-10 degrees per second. The avionics shop said that the Century III wasn't receiving a signal from the A/I and suspected the electronics were bad in the A/I. Since he didn't have a spare A/I to verify his diagnosis I went to another shop and replaced the A/I and still had the same problem. Shop 2 suggested I remove the face plate on the Century III and fine tune the roll control. I can't find anything online on how to do this. Has anyone done these adjustments?
