I’ve determined that fuel from my right aux fuel tank is slowly draining into my right main fuel tank. After tracking fuel burn on both engines and measuring the main and aux tank on both sides, after 3 hours of flying with one hour with the aux tanks selected, the right side main always has more fuel that the left side main and the right side aux always has less fuel than the right side aux tank.

I suspect that either the selector adjustment arms are out of adjustment or possibly the “O” Rings may not be sealing correctly. Does anyone have experience with this delima?

    Tim:

The fuel selectors in twins are … notorious is probably too light a word. Almost certainly those should be inspected and serviced.

Thanks for the response William. I have an A&P with his own Twinkie coming over next week to inspect and determine the coarse of action. He also mentioned to me that fuel selector issues are common in PA-30’s.
