Fuel sending unit New vs. Rebuilt

Postby Chic Ritzheimer » Fri Jun 04, 2010 1:19 am

Replacing all the bladders on a 64' 250. Might as well get the sending units up to date as well (they too are orginal). Do I buy new units and where vs. sending in the old ones to get rebuilt...if that can be done any more? Thanks, again, Chic

Air Parts of Lock Haven - overhaul is cheap - relatively speaking. Be aware that adjustment during install may still be necessary.

Also, the gauge itself may need attention.

Webco will sell you the fuel cover gaskets.

Both Flyer advertisers.

Thanks again gal... I did see the ad in Webco, but thought there might be a more cost effective way...RIGHT!! Kinda like HD (Harley Davidson) or Hundred Dollars every time you go into a dealership!!
