Fuel Press Drops When Boost Pump On
1970 PA-24-260C Turbo
With the engine running, my fuel pressure drops 2 PSI when I turn on my fuel boost pump. Boost pump works fine for starting etc.
Dukes boost pump.
Any ideas?

Re: Fuel Press Drops When Boost Pump On
You might be sucking air from the pump or the pump fittings, or the fuel strainer or selector. If you can't find the issues try putting a clear hose between the firewall and the engine driven pump and see if there is any difference boost pump on or off as far as bubbles etc.
