fuel cell
What is the best fuel cell out there? Is there any advantage one way or the other by using Aero Tech, or Eagle?

Re: fuel cell
Kristin Winter said she had better success fitting AeroTech, so I bought them for the Twin and they have done well in mains and auxes. Discount for ICS members.

Re: fuel cell
I dont think any one brand is better than others anymore. FFC, Aerotech, Eagle, all have been good for all the planes I know. Just comes down to price.

Re: fuel cell
I bought from Floats and Fuel Cells ofm Memphis last set. They are as good as any I believe, and I got a great deal on them. Much cheaper then Aero Tech. If you order F&FC of Memphis, you have to order install kits seperately as they are not included. With the difference in price between rebuilt and new I went with new.

Re: fuel cell
I just installed four cells from Eagle. All the snaps lined up nicely and they were cheaper than Aero qouted me even with shipping to California. I bought four so that did make a difference on the price. No CA sales tax helped out too.

Re: fuel cell
Aero Tech is good, Eagle I had a big problem with on a customer's aircraft where the cell crazed along the top and failed in 18 months from installation. Of them all, I prefer Floats and Fuel Cells (FFC) - as good as Aerotech and a little less in cost.
