Wow, they look fantastic. Brings the look of the PA30 into the 21st century. I have had my eye on them since they announced the STC. What was the cost if you don't mind?

Hi Tommy, Do you have any update on the performance or how you like the three bladed props over the two bladed props? I am considering the MT's since I am about to take mine off for an overhaul @ 1300 hrs (based on years). Mine are alcohol, so I imagine I will have to stay with 2 bladed, but I have not asked MT about that.

Gomer
I like the MTs but need to fly with them more to give a more accurate account maybe I'll get somebody from ICS or airworthy to test fly my Airplane with me and report back. Any Volunteers ? BY the way the props I removed are for sale check for sale items on this web site I'll give them to you @ a good price.

Tim
Thanks for the reply, I flew my airplane the other day at 6500 da 24in 2440 rpm(sweet spot valve timing) two people 50 gal fuel & trued out 176 knots @17 .5 gph, at 9.5 to 10.5 isa grossed out I get 170 kts 14 gph with couple kt increase with burn off.it looks like I get the extra 3 kts on a already fast pa30c I will try a drift down from alt when conditions permit and compare the info with my pa30c drift down tables which are based on GROUND SPEED Keep in mind the MTs are not like other 3 bladed props that lose their perfomance to various degrees. The props & eng have a completely different sound than before that's really neat These props bring this airplane up to the 21st century Thanks again for your comment Tim.

So Tom,

Now that a few more months have rolled by, have you gotten to fly much and are you able to give a good update on the performance numbers you have been seeing? any differences in handling etc

Following with curiosity
Tim
