Locking Fuel Doors

Postby George Kretschmann » Fri Oct 24, 2014 1:00 am

Can anybody share the instillation of the cam locks for the fuel door covers. I saw a set surfing an e-bay site and think I would be interested in installing a set. It seems to be an honest mans lock but never the less better than nothing. Thanks George

I know that Heritage Aero installed them on Bill Schnauffer's PA-30 (the 2013 Flagship). Cliff Wilewski and his team may be able to advise. If you install these I'd appreciate hearing what you learn from that as I've thought of doing those too.

UPDATE: Sorry I posted this reply and re-read your post... I thought you were talking about locking fuel doors as opposed to cam-locks. Sorry.
