Knots 2U nacelle induction system for PA-30/39
My name is Randy my partner Rich and I have a PA-30 s/n#1807 we bought the airplane in March of 2016 and have put about 50 hours on it. I don't like seeing the #3 CHT on each engine running 30 to 50 degrees warmer than the next hottest CHT. We have sealed any leaks in the baffling not that there was much and it changed nothing.
It looks like Knots 2U has addressed this with the Nacelle Induction System kit, anyone out there done this to their airplane and if so are you happy with it? Did it slow down, speed up, or make any change to speed or flying characteristics?
Any info would be great.

Hi Randy!
It is interesting that it is your #3 that is hot. My Twinkie, and many others I have talked to, runs hotter on #4. I found that I was losing a lot of cooling air out the front around the prop. Cleaning up that and the rest of the baffling dropped my CHT's 40-50 degrees.
