Hi. Can some one provide me with a scanned copy of the Harlan Small Tire STC (SA1806SO)?

It appears that Harlan is no longer in operation, and no one seems to have picked up the STC. The FAA database only gives the title, not the actual STC itself. I had my mechanic ask around to see if he could dig it up, but he came up empty.

In order to get my mechanic to do the work, and then get it field approved, we need a copy of the original STC. So if someone out their has it, and is willing to share, I would really appreciate it.

Hi Tomoharu, Contact Patric Barry in Chino, CA. He is one of the technical advisors listed in the Comanche Flyer. He is working with Mrs. Harlan so the STC will continue. I don't know which models of Comanche the Harlan STC includes. Mine is a PA30. Patric also has a PA30.

I used it (STC) on my PA24-180 about a year ago w/the help of some folks in here. I changed the tires out, my IA accomplished the Form 337 and received a FSDO field approval. No issues. STC attached.

I recently bought a '58 pa24-250 with this STC. What air pressure should I run in this tire?

 

Simple answer on all of this, and this goes for any Comanche tire, single or twin (. If the tire is 4 ply, inflate to 27 psi, if it is 6 ply, inflate to 42 psi. Now as to where the info is on the Harlan STC paperwork, it is on the permission/instruction letter which should be part of the permanent records of the aircraft and included as a supplement to the flight manual.
