Re: Gust Lock
There used to be a gust lock available from Dennis Asby. I think he sold all of his stuff to Aircraft Spruce. Try them.
I hope this helps.

Gust Lock
Does anyone make a gust lock for the Comanche 250? If so any website info would be great. I know some of you use bungee cords. If so, what length?- Joseph Munoz

I tie the twin with seatbelts - alternating left and right turns - unless I know a wind will come from a particular direction at that particular airport.PatPatricia Jayne (Pat) Keefer ICS 08899

Re: Gust Lock
Bungee cords of any length can be wrapped around yokes. I prefer them to seat belts which deflect the ailerons. Don't worry about the elevators except in a really big blow.713 464 6717

Re: Gust Lock
I use one bungee cord wrapped around the yokes plus a second that goes from the yoke bungee cord down to a rudder pedal. Light, simple, stows in a seat pocket and virtually impossible to forget to remove.Jay
