Eyeball Vents

Postby Mark Anderson » Sun Mar 18, 2012 8:32 pm

Does anyone know of a good replacement for the plastic eyeball vents in the Cieling ? I would like to go with aluminum. What size do I need to fit the scat hose. Aircraft Spruce has several but not sure about the size.

Thanks

Mark

I used the aveo eyeball vents and made my own aluminum plates to screw them onto...super easy and works well

Earlier Comanches and most, if not all Aztecs had the aluminum vents. They are about 1 7/8" in diameter and just wedge into the plenum. I don't know if they are available new, but the ones I have seen are over $200. I would try a salvage yard.
