Crack found on rear bulkhead
image.jpegAre these cracks common ? My guess is the tail skid met the runway. The crack is shown in the attached picture.what is the recommended repair ?

I have seen this once before on a Comanche that had a right gear collapse and struck the tail skid. While it is probably possible to repair with a well formed doubler and expert riveting, we found the entire bulkhead from a salvage yard and replaced with a serviceable bulkhead. Either way it is a fair amount of sheet metal work. Good luck
