Cabin Insulation Suggestions

Postby Rick A Foree » Wed May 08, 2013 6:53 pm

I have completely stripped all of the old fiberglas insulation from my PA24-250. I'd like some feedback from others that have replacd with closed cell foam and the Soundex solution. I'm also looking for a MK12D+, even with Narco being out of business. Thanks, Rick

Rick,

FYI,

Food for thought,

I am removing my insulation to save weight and go faster (just like Hans). I also have invested to noise cancelling Bose headsets. FWIW.

I put Soundex in my 250 and have found it to be quite effective. The installation was not very difficult. The stuff cuts easily with an electric carving knife.
